Gabriel Martinelli has become the youngest player to score a brace for Arsenal in Europe after helping the Gunners thump Standard Liege.
Brazilian striker Martinelli put the Gunners ahead on 13 minutes with a superb header from an inviting cross from Arsenal summer signing Kieran Tierney.
Three minutes later, Martinelli scored his and Arsenal’s second, finding space in the box and rifling a shot past Standard Liege goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.

Joe Willock, the 20-year-old midfielder, added a third for the hosts midway through the first half with Tierney again involved on the left flank.
Unwilling to take their foot off the gas, Arsenal opened up a 4-0 lead with 33 minutes still to play when loanee Dani Ceballos scored his first goal for the club in the second half.
Arsenal’s emphatic victory ensures they have taken maximum points from their first two group games of this season’s Europa League.
Unai Emery’s side, who reached the Europa League final last term, welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates on Sunday as they return to Premier League action.
