The summer signing is yet to feature for Arsenal due to injury, but made his return to full training on Thursday – alongside fellow full-back Hector Bellerin.
Arsenal fans are hoping Tierney will be an instant success for the Gunners and help strengthen their fragile defence.
Mustafi has been frozen out from the first-team squad by Unai Emery this season and Tierney added to the German’s frustrations in training.

In a Piggy-in-the-middle style one-touch passing drill, Tierney manages to nutmeg Mustafi in front of his team-mates.
Mustafi protests and has to take some teasing from Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette, but takes the slight well.
Arsenal are hopeful Tierney and Bellerin will make a swift return to action after a step forward in their recoveries.
Bellerin has missed almost nine months to a knee ligament damage, but he and Tierney could make their injury comeback at the end of the month.
Tierney has not played since May and underwent a double hernia operation over the summer after suffering from knee and groin problems.
Emery will look to utliise his squad on October 3 for the visit of Standard Liege and Tierney and Bellerin may get minutes in that game if they are fit.
